The HI 84430 is an automatic titrator designed for quick and easy analysis of total titratable acidity in water. This titrator eliminates error and technique dependent results associated with manual titrations using potentiometric endpoint determination, peristaltic titrant delivery, and integrated magnetic stirring systems.
The endpoint determination algorithm analyzes the pH vs. volume curve to determine the exact pH endpoint and performs the necessary calculations. Results are displayed in the user’s choice of mg/L CaCO3 or meq/L CaCO3 units. Titrations can be conducted using low range (15 to 500 mg/L as CaCO3) or high range reagent (400 to 4000 mg/L as CaCO3). The HI 84430 features the same user-friendly interface with a HELP key to help users navigate through set-up and calibration sequences, reports instrument status, and perform troubleshooting.
