As an entry-level model in digital refractometry, the DR101-60 covers many areas of application. It offers excellent value for money, in terms of procurement and operation. Calibration is performed with distilled water. The waterproof case allows the DR101-60 to be rinsed under running water and also features automatic temperature compensation.
The DR201-95 is a compact digital hand-held refractometer which eliminates user-related reading errors associated with most manual hand-held refractometers. Specially developed for fast and easy quality and process control, it has a wide measuring range for refractive index and sugar scales. Thus, one DR201-95 can replace several existing instruments. A special model is available with an Oechsle scale instead of a sugar scale for measuring alcohol content. Both instruments are low-maintenance and are calibrated with distilled water. The 1.5 V battery lasts for over 1000 measurements.
The digital hand-held refractometer DR301-95 has more functions than a simple hand-held refractometer while being more cost-effective than desktop units. Besides the refractive index, sugar and salt scales, up to two other scales can be programmed. To program these scales, the hand-held refractometer can be connected to a PC via a serial interface. The software supplied allows results to be managed and printed out. While the instrument can be operated as a mobile unit with a 9 V block battery, the optional power supply unit turns the DR301-95 into a laboratory refractometer. The stainless steel sample plate can be cleaned quickly and easily. Calibration is performed with distilled water and features optional temperature compensation. For incoming goods control applications, an upper and lower tolerance alarm can be entered.

Manual handheld refractometers are for quick daily use. They are particularly user friendly and very durable. Multiple scales and functions ensure that there is exactly the right handheld refractometer for any field of application. This makes for a reliable reading, as measured values do not have to be converted.
Some models have an automatic temperature compensation feature, increasing precision for measurements which are performed at 10–40 °C instead of 20 °C. Distilled water is required for calibration, otherwise a small calibration plate is provided.

Abbe refractometers are characterised by their easy handling and minimal sample quantities. These devices allow samples in the form of solids or pastes to be measured just as easily as liquids.
The AR2008 is a robust unit, ideal for applications in harsh environments. The refractive index or Brix value and temperature is shown on a LCD display, with a serial interface allowing measured values (date and time) to be transferred to a PC or printer. The AR2008 has automatic temperature compensation, and a thermostat connection of prisms and a built-in light source for the measuring prism. The unit comes complete with a glass calibration plate, contact fluid, screwdriver and a dust hood.
The AR4 offers readings via ocular. It has an adjustable scale, temperature controlled prisms, and thermostat connections for prisms. The AR4D adds a scale window along with the ocular reading.

The bypass process refractometer PRB21 fills the gap between digital laboratory refractometers and process refractometers. The sample is directed through a bypass to the measurement chamber , while the prism is made of scratch-resistant sapphire.
The PRB21 is usually connected to a PLC and used for continuous process monitoring. The measurement interval is adjustable and the measurement result is not affected by the color or the turbidity of the sample. The PRB21 has multiple interfaces and can be supplied with PROFIBUS on request. A display is also available for monitoring.
