Benchmark BioClave™ Autoclaves make the process of sterilizing research tools and consumables using steam convenient and affordable. These device are made fully automatic and both models will fit comfortably in a crowded benchtop. The stainless steel chambers are surprisingly large and can accommodate a variety of liquids, media, instruments, glassware, plasticware and other common laboratory items.
The 16 liter BioClave offers three cycle options preset for sterilization of liquids, wrapped instruments or unwrapped instruments/plastic ware. With the BioClave Mini, the device is preprogrammed to meet basic sterilization needs. Both devices complete the sterilization cycle (fill, sterilize, exhaust and dry) and are extremely compact with large digital displays and fully automatic operation.

The new BactiZapper™ Infrared MicroSterilizer from Benchmark has an asbestos-free core element that ensures complete infrared sterilization in 5-7 seconds. The ceramic heating element is safely enclosed in a perforated stainless steel guard chamber. This chamber protects users from accidental contact with extreme temperatures of the core area.
The device uses infrared heating to produce 815°C (1500°F). Being safe, convenient and spatter-proof, it is ideal for platinum loops, needles and tube mouths. It is extremely compact and can be used in both anaerobic and aerobic chambers.

Ritter Polysteribox®
Ritters Polysteribox® is manufactured from a transparent, highly stable and
temperature resistant special plastic that is tested up to 150°C. The Polysteribox® is designed to be used in a vacuum autoclave at 121°C or 134°C. Simply put your utensils you wish to sterilize in a Polysteribox®, close the lid and place inside your autoclave. Once sterilization is done you may store the box and it's contents and the Polysteribox® will maintain a sterile environment inside until you open it. The Lid and bottom part close tightly forming a bacteria barrier using the Loop of Henle principal to form a hermetic seal without the need for troublesome gaskets. Therefore the polysteribox® is suitable
for use in industrial dishwashers with the filter remaining in place.
For your convenience Ritter offers two PTFE filter systems, either
a permanent filter subject to annual change or a life-time filter.
The environmentally friendly Polysteribox® is the first product of it's kind. It's inventor, Mr. Werner Ulschmid of Ansbach District Hospital, Germany was awarded the B.A.U.M. environmental prize in 1993 for the Polysteribox®. |
