The Scientech Zeta series balances use a patented weighing technology that makes them ideal for rugged environments, such as educational labs, mines, and other hostile environments, as these balances are nearly indestructible and easily repairable. The Zeta series balances come with a 5 year warranty.
The Scientech SA series balances are high end analytical balances with both external and internal calibration options as well as dual range models. Capacities range from 80g to 510g as Scientech was the first manufacture to offer a 510g capacity analytical balance. The SA balances come with a 3 year warranty.

Scientech Zeta Analytical Balances (0.1mg)
The Zeta series balance use a patented weighing technology that creates a nearly indestructible balance. This revolutionary weighing technology differs from normal lever-configuration designs since it is based on a direct-loading, electromagnetic, force-restoration cell concept. This gives more functionality in a simple and elegant design. This patented design means that there are less moving parts in the device creating an exceptionally rugged and easily repairable balance while at the same time maintaining high standard accuracy. To demonstrate the durability of this balance, we drop a 2 kg weight on a 200g analytical balance. Would you do that to your balance? Would it survive?
The Zeta series balance also incorporates many useful features including live animal weighing and user selectable vibration filter. The Stability Indicator with user selectable stability sensitivity indicates the validity of the reading. The Check Weighing feature also shows whether the sample weight is too high, too low or OK, thus eliminating interpretive error. All these ensure reliable results.

Scientech SA Analytical Balances (0.1mg)
With high-standard accuracy as the ultimate measure in any analytical weighing schemes, the SA Analytical Balances of the 12000 series more than delivers. It can measure weights from 80 to 510 grams with 0.1mg readability. Measurements are displayed speedily, clearly and most importantly accurately.
As the first 510 gram balance with 0.1g readability, the SA 510 is unrivaled in all analytical balances. It is incorporated with the Capacity Tracker feature that shows a graphical display of the used and unused portions of the weighing range. This feature is especially important in weighing container weights of several components.
The SA 80 is perfect for value-conscious users. It provides ultra-featherweight readability for a lightweight price; it is equipped with a Stability Indicator that tells the validity of the reading ensuring accurate results. The balance set up can also be customized since its stability sensitivity is user selectable. This indicator can also be turned on and off.
There are also different models available, from those with motorized automatic internal calibration feature that utilizes internal weights to models that utilize external weight.
