O-Desmethyltramadol is an opioid analgesic and an active primary urine and blood metabolite of the synthetic analgesic tramadol. O-Desmethyltramadol is the active component in the designer drug “Krypton”, which is marketed in many countries as a legal high. O-Desmethyltramadol is not a known metabolite of any drug other than tramadol. Presence indicates tramadol use.
