Information

Norketamine is the primary urinary metabolite of ketamine, an NMDA receptor agonist indicated for the induction and maintenance of general anesthesia in human and veterinary medicine. Ketamine is available under the brand names Ketanest, Ketaset, and Ketalar. It is often abused at clubs, raves, or parties due to its hallucinogenic and dissociative properties. It is sometimes prescribed as an off-label treatment for depression.
