O-desmethylvenlafaxine, also known as desvenlafaxine and sold under the brand name Pristiq, is an SNRI prescribed for the treatment of depression. It is also the major urinary metabolite of venlafaxine, another SNRI antidepressant that is available under the brand names Effexor/Efexor.
