PRO Scientific Multi-Gen Generator Probes

PRO Scientific offers Multi-Gen Generator Probes for their homogenizers to serve as a better alternative to disposable generator probes. Multi-Gen Generator Probes are reusable 7mm diameter generator probes constructed from 316 stainless steel and PTFE, eliminating the possibility of cross-contamination and the need to clean the generator between samples.

Compared to their disposable counterparts, the Multi-Gen Generator Probes offer several advantages, including their ability to process more difficult and tough tissues, they are easily sterilized by flaming or autoclaving, and can be used an unlimited number of times.

Multi-Gen 7 Generator Probes feature a flat bottom design that is ideal for liquid and soft samples. Their shorter shaft is best used with 0.5 mL microtubes to 5.0 mL tubes.

Multi-Gen 7XL Generator Probes feature an open slotted tooth design that is ideal for soft and tough samples. The longer shaft works great from 0.5 mL microtubes to larger 50 mL tubes.
