HeroLab Glass Tubes
The Glass centrifuge tubes by HeroLab are available in Borex and Duran glass, and are perfect for low-speed applications where clarity and good chemical tolerance is required. Glass tubes must be treated with care when removing pellets, washing and storing. Surface scratches and etchings will significantly reduce the life span of the glass tubes. All glass tubes show better tolerance at higher temperatures compared to low temperatures. The high-speed glass tubes can be spun at higher g-forces than the Borex and Duran tubes.
